Reigniting Our Vision

What does "Vero" mean? It's one of the most common questions we're asked, and for good reason. "Vero" isn't exactly a word one throws around in casual conversation. Vero means "truth" in Italian. Every time you walk through the doors of our West Des Moines IA pain relief clinic, our hope is that you find some sort of truth, whether it's about your body, your identity, or your faith. In a world where truth is relative and often difficult to find, we aim to stand out. Our vision is to see all of our practice members living life at their full God-given potential. We're seeing that vision come to fruition on a daily basis, and we long for more!

Our team recently spent a Tuesday morning assessing our values and vision. We do so every few months to make sure we're all on the same track—always moving towards a kinder, more efficient, and more effective office. In the midst of all our strategies and planning, we want to keep our name's meaning at the forefront of everything we do. With every neurological adjustment, SKED message, reevaluation, X-ray, and conversation at the front desk, we pray you experience "Vero" in its full meaning!

When Life Hits You

Auto accidents are stressful. Not only do you have to take care of a damaged vehicle, but you also have to take care of your body. Neck pain, back pain, and headaches as a result of an accident are not normal and should not be ignored. These symptoms can persist and worsen with time if not evaluated and treated correctly. Too often people assume that these symptoms will go away on their own. This can be a big mistake!

If you have recently been in an auto accident, you need a doctor who is trained in the biomechanics of the spine, someone who treats these injuries everyday. At Vero, our primary goal is to get you out of pain and give you the care you need. If you've been in an accident recently, let one of our doctors know on your next visit! We know just how difficult accidents can be, and we're here to help.

Vero Had A Baby!

We are thrilled to announce that our team member, Mary Kate, and her husband, Mark, just had their first child! Brooks Louis was born on April 11 and received his first neurological adjustment eight days later. He slept through his first visit at Vero and is off to a great start making adjustments a regular part of his routine!
